Try the auction on a Sunday.

There often appear there.

Or you can ring them as I believe that they sell items anyway without waiting for the auction.

Hi parkview,

Try "Spot" basement of flats!

Last on the left going towards Girne New horbour,

where the ferries arrive.

Was in there today, two models, new, but not full price, 150tl & 160tl

Worth a look

Hi greylag,

Not seen any paraffin heaters over here.

Think you can get them here though.

Maybe someone will post?

Good luck,

You'd even find them in most builder merchants.

Hi greylag,

"What about paraffin heaters are they available from anywhere"

Called into Spot today, they have 2 types of paraffin heaters in stock at the moment.

All heaters both gas and parafin will put some water into the atmosphere, that is the oxidation of hydrocarbons for you.

Message 12, we have 2 x calor heaters which we use when the main house fire is not lit and have used them for two years now. They are the more expensive catalytic type, no flame just a glowing platinum mesh,

We do have the bathroom window open to let in air as today's double glazing is pretty well sealed and you do need ventilation.. There is no condensation on any of our windows, neither is there any smell. If you don't believe it, invite yourself round for coffee.
