I've replaced a battery in a Suunto dive computer myself without a problem.

If you can get a replacement seal, just remove the old one carefully, put a tiny amount of silicon grease on the new one and off you go. Make sure every surface is clean as well.

Did you get the seal for your dive watch in the end?

Scubadoo/Msg 6: '3 years running (200 dives annually)...'

That's a lot of dives - are you affiliated with a diving business/school here - does that include pool training sessions?

With such experience, perhaps you would like to contribute to 'Newlad's' (Paul) thread re 'diving alone'.... ?
