| Texas I am happy to see TL strengthen against the pound but for a lot of people in NC who have to convert a sterling pension into TL this is not such good news. |

| Its because Bank of England have indicated British interest rates will remain at low level for a long time. Low interest rates weak currency ! Turkey not doing well just Britain doing a lot worse ! |

| Looks like the signing of a new deal with the IMF is iminent, if/when it happens you could see it go further. |

| Its not just the pound the lira euro rate has dropped from up t 2.3 to 2.1 over the last few weeks so there must be some current strength in the TL now. As to why have no idea. Aussie |
