navek,i hope its not like that in the french alps in 3 wks time,at least i've been able to try out my new ski jacket and gloves in uk,havent been able to move the car for 5 days now in cornwall.Tis stunning though,kids missed 2 or 3 days school too!

Yep it is very cold,we got more snow coming in on sunday apparently,i dont do the cold very well,if i was meant to live in a cold climate i'd have been issued a fur coat at birth!lol.However after the skiing trip i'm back in the uk for 6 days then off to Lanzarote to thaw out(hopefully not with my leg in plaster),hoping to get out to NC at easter or May at the latest,then again in the summer,but i like my cricket so i dont want to miss too many games!Maybe meet up for a pint sometime,or a gold fassl.

not read other posts yet but can tell you it's bad, car is in a few feet of snow, running out of bread and milk etc. bah hambug. Good time I can make nice hearty soups and fresh bread

Yep - it certainly is cold in UK at the moment.



I should actually be somewhere warm and tropical at the moment (well, I think I should). I was made to live in a warm climate, 365 days of the year. However, I am not and my son is on the West coast of Australia (again).

The pictures where the car's, trees and pavement are iced over where taken in Versoix ( switzerland) in 2005 just down the road from me. Most of the shoreline around the lake was like this. Fantastic. Loads of snow here and in France in case anybody is coming over soon. Happy skiing!!!
