Thanks to 'Mary' for passing on Peler's message, but I now have one from Maureen , one of the stall holders who wants everyone to know who is where and when.

Firstly, she maintains that at least 10 stall holders are continuing at Star Bowling centre on a Sunday morning from 10a.m. (new time) to 1p.m. and hope that regular shoppers will want to come and spend some time - and there is always room for new stall holders.

Secondly, it is confirmed that Peler is moving off to the new venue as given by 'Mary' on 17th January, and there will be other stall holders with him. This gives people the opportuni9ty to go to both places if they wish.

Thirdly, the reasons behind all the changes are really totally unimportant, whether they are botn out of good or bad circumstances. The main thing is that everyone knows what is REALLY happening, and points one and two above will hopefully make that plain.

Personally, I think we are lucky that these markets have sprung up in recent years and

cont..... that there are dedicated folk who are prepared to get out of bed at the crack of dawn to provide an opportunity for people to shop, chat, meet old and new friends, help raise money for charity and make our days out here even brighter.

So, long live ALL the market, including Karakum!

Does anybody out there say 'Amen?'

Yes, Amen.

Can also confirm that the new Sunday Market, will start next week at the 'Gul Pembe' Garden Centre, in Bellapais Rd.

The first month will be free for all stall-holders and it will be undercover.

Lots of choice now.....with Beach Lagoon starting up tomorrow and also talk of a Tatlisu Car Boot.

We certainly seem to have a 'plague' of spreading markets, and that is fab, but please tellme where Beach Lagoon is. And is the Tatlisu one of Peler'#s, as I know he was talking of possibly setting something up that way.

So, any details that anyone can share with all of us would be fab.

Beach Lagoon is on the Lapta strip between the Celebrity Hotel and Jessics bar. If coming from Girne it is on the right.
