Just being controversial- Not in the habit of paste & post. "Daily Mail" might say it all. Mind you, being in UK right now makes you think .

The bitter winter afflicting much of the Northern Hemisphere is only the start of a global trend towards cooler weather that is likely to last for 20 or 30 years, say some of the world’s most eminent climate scientists.

Their predictions – based on an analysis of natural cycles in water temperatures in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans – challenge some of the global warming orthodoxy’s most deeply cherished beliefs, such as the claim that the North Pole will be free of ice in summer by 2013.

According to the US National Snow and Ice Data Centre in Colorado, Arctic summer sea ice has increased by 409,000 square miles, or 26 per cent, since 2007 – and even the most committed global warming activists do not dispute this.

Its all rubbish. Without the ozone layer going into total depletion then global warming of that kind will not occur. The ozone is within the earths stratosphere at the moment, which is still above mount everest. Even with total destruction of the ozone layer at that height, it will still not cause problems of that magnitude, for many many years.

The ozone layer is getting lower, with it soon entering the tropopause but even at this level, an ozone layer will form to create another boundary from the suns devestating UV rays that would be deadly to us on earth.

If you want accurate information on this sort of thing, seek advice of astronomers, not scientists, as they bend the truth.

Global warming, which is trapping us in a bubble of heat is of course heating the earths temperature, but for anything as problematic as a 'mini ice age' to occur it is going to need to be far hotter, and while the ozone layer is still in tact stopping the sun from heating us up even more we have nothing to worry about.

Possibly after 50-100 years or so the global warming on its own may cause that mini ice age the scientists have brewed up to worry us, but not in 2013 like they predict.
