hi

i will be visiting the site 12-13 june 2008 so if anybody has any questions let me know. as far as i can find out from chatting with alpan all the houses are finished. most of the plots in the centre part of the site plan are not being built so that will be the communial area you may be hearing about. a friend took a trip there last weel and told me that the drains and roads are being constructed now. a few things have changed on the contract during construction but not too much but one of the little things that cheesed me off is the lack of wardrobes. these were to all rooms in the package unwins sold me but have been deleted from spec somwhere down the line. anybody got any thoughts on this ?

We've just got back to the UK today after 10 days of great weather & fun.

We have a Villa in Bahcelli but we had three visits to Tatlisu.

I was also there 5 weeks ago prior to this so i have seen some change to the Tatlisu site.

On my earlier visit they had trenched out & were layingcable duct (& very early stages of the elec sub station)

Yesterday i looked in a service hatch & can confirm that duct is all layed but cables don't appear to have been pulled in yet.

The electric sub station is up & what appears to be another water storage tank next to it has bee built.

We had a m€eeting with Tugce at the Villa in Bahcelli & seems like as with yourselves she has promised that we will all be in on an immaculate site by the end of last week( sorry for the sarcasm) We did however point out that there are only built in wardrobes inmaster bedroom when they should be fitted to all 3 bedrooms.

She replied that this was only ever going to be the case but on speaking to Unwin Estate agents & looking at the property particulars it does state clearly wardrobes to each bedroom ( Unwins were sure that they should be to each bedroom & that they are wrong to think they can change the spec midway through a build)

We also stated we wanted the safety balustrades across the second floor bedroom windows as shown ( serious safety issue)

Pergoda to the front elevation.

i recently noticed that unwins have a new branch manager. i emailed him a list of the problems and he passed this right up to mark unwin who replied to me personaly. he has offered to meet up with me and alpan personaly on 13th june to sort this out so there may be some light but im not holding my breath.

tatlisu4me...what have you done about the lack of wardrobes and other issuies that you are not happy about ?

Hi

I'm confused (not difficult!)

Are Unwins the sole agent for Mayfairpark 35?

Thanks

Nice meeting you both too & we both certainly look forward to a beer or 2 soon.

Another pointer thats worth asking Tugce is regarding the the boundry fencing which she now says shes going to change for a few shrubs (not the best use of the water)

Not to mention the safety aspect with regards to children on the site.

Look forward to hearing the promises she makes you.

Stand Firm

Enjoy the rest of your holiday

I think the build and quality of workmanship is second to none but will be back on the forum Tues next week to give an update on the meeting
