Its amazing how they will twist every news and somehow blame Turkey. However it shows clearly that when the current talks fail, as it is bound to fail, they are dead scared that it may lead to the official recognition of partition.

speculation that is beyond belief.

Was it not the Greek Cypriots who had a real and identified campaign of murder and assasination in the 1960,s

It is incredible that the London Daily News printed a piece that was at best speculation - at worst outright propaganda.

With absolutely no verifiable facts linking the TR to Hajicostis' assassination (nor to the theft of Papadopoulos's remains) the author is seeking to establish as a given that the TR is trying to "mix things up". Actually, his "editorial" is a pathetic attempt to pre-emptively steer blame for failure of the talks away from the GC side who remain distant from settlement principles deemed equitable by the UN and International community.

This article failed all the standards of objective journalism and a proper, responsible news organisation should never have run such scurrilous nonsense.

This is just one of the recent news events trying to link TCs and Turks with trying to sabotage the talks - http://www.northcyprusfreepress.com/2010/01/13/who-took-papadopolous-body-and-killed-the-sigma-tv-managing-director/
