A friend of mine owns it , in my opinion its right up my street , finally a place with class , 'real' interior designed , im dining their this evening , it cost him 1.5 million dollars ( inc , construction ) , hes doing well , well worth a visit atleast for the ambience , concept ... cant comment about food as im eating their for the first time , however the executive chef was headhunted from Turkey and they import some of their own ingredients liek porchini mushrooms , thats all i know for now , oh and they keep a strict door policy , so do make an effort to dress up , no riff raff , lol

Tango to Buddah is a real eye opener....when the entrance doors slide open you really think you have stepped into a top bar/club/restaurant in uptown Istanbul. The interior decor is unlike anything already here really cool & stylish.

The menu is also very interesting with a selection of dishes once again with a difference.

Its a music bar so it gets lively after 10.00pm but the music is very danceable But prior to that its fine just to go & eat.

Loads of staff so service is good.Meals are reasonably priced....drinks ....well a bit pricey....buy hey they have spent a lot of money on the place so its business. Oh & by the way ..,.valet parking.

Get your glad rags on a go & see for yourself.

BTW i don't work there or own it ( i wish) i just happened to have been in as a customer.

I can only utilise my memory to advise whats on the menu for myself i started with Coconut Shrimps & a mint dipping sauce followed by Strips of Chicken served on a potato & onion rosti with spicy red & green peppers with a yogurt dressing...all very nice. Other meals in our party included ravioli, argentinian t-bone steak, Buffalo Steak ,Tempura Vegetables & thats when it all gets hazy. I do remember that the menu included pasta dishes, fish & lamb, steak & chicken dishes ...oh & they have a big Pizza oven.

Regarding Caron Wheeler if you google her name you will find on her Facebook page a message from the Operations Manager at TangotoBuddah inviting her to perform there ....don't know what her response was.

Not comprehensive but hope that helps.

Hi the shrimp was popular last night as I had it as well followed by paella which was absolutely delicious 39 tl for 2 people. Definitely felt a bit old - for our next visit will buy some thigh high boots & skinny jeans. Fantastic evening live entertainment singing & dancing 2 girls & 2 (mostly) topless guys upstairs/downstairs & round the tables, disco playing 70/80s music food very reasonably priced good menu very attractively served. The place was really buzzing did not feel like we were in TRNC at all!!

Yes, we were there last night for a friend's Birthday celebration. We were well impressed with everything! I agree, we did not feel like we were in the TRNC either. Would definitely go again and would recommend it for a 'feel good' night out with class!!
