I know this subject has been duscussed before but I have lost the information. What do we need to buy and from where to water proof the leaking overflow channels on our swimming pools? How many coats do you apply and what time of the year is best to do this job? Do people recommend that you tile after waterproofing or is it best not to tile?

Osmaseal is the best sealant - at least two coats required

Thank you Alan for your helpful information. Do you know where you purchase Osmaseal from?

unfortunately, osmoseal is a cement based sealant, and does not and can not work on its own to stop leaks. i suggest you have a word with lee who posted message 3.

Yes Yunus you are correct, Osmoseal was useless, we had terrible problems with water leaking into our pool room and utility, until the balance tank was sealed correctly.

I have two friends who have used the same method that I have, and they are tottally satisfied with it.
