they are going under rowlo , i was reading about them yesterday seems a very shadey set up down there , no one knows who actualy owns them , seems a gang of five asians with no money have conned a bank into lending the money to buy the club , the new guy who claims to own it as not paid the previous owner gaydamack and gaydamack owes the previous previous owner.

They still have the transfer embargo too,which means that there is no way they could get players in to improve the squad/team......even if they could afford any. £80 million of debt.......nobody but themselves to blame. Once they go bankrupt/go into administration....they will be deducted 9 points immediately......that would certainly make relegation likely!

transfer fees and players wages are killing it no1, the pompey fans must be gutted 500 turned up to clear the snow now they hear their keepers being loaned to stoke ,a possable relegation rival .

This proud club is in dire straits and I feel for their fans as the value of the club is falling like a stone and the danger is that without a buyer and an injection of capital even going into administration is no guarantee of their survival in a lower league.

The players wages are killing all clubs , a wage cap is the only answer , average players are being paid 20.000a week even more in some cases, i wonder what would happen to Chelsea if there chairman was to walk away, Manchester Utd serviceing a £750.million debt, Liverpool owners takeing on more than they can handle you can go on and on its out of control.

Rowlo. good point, lets get back to young british players given a chance , 60% turnover on Player Budget,mercenary players from abroad dont care when the moneys tight there off, dont blame the players thought Chairmam with Massive Ego,s set the Wage Bills and offer players Contracts that is not substainable.
