Where is there a good place to have shoes / sandles made to measure?

To save on chiropodist bills which are now adding up! Can anyone suggest a good place to get quality sandles and shoes made to measure?

At the crossroads in Karaoglanoglu take the right hand turn (this assumes you are travelling from Lapta to Girne) to Edrimit & Karaman and 100 metres on the right there is a shoe maker. I don't know if he is any good as have never used him.

The little shoe shop opposite the dome is a shoe maker that I have used and he was excellent. Have also had repair work done on hubbies sandals, after the dog chewed them, at the one mentioned by lovingcyprus and he did great work too.

Have you tried MBT sandals? Expensive but well worth it. I live in them through the summer and the troublesome feet love them!

Hi TopTen MBT stands for Masai Barefoot Technology. Google MBT shoes on your computer and you will get all the details. I have them in 3 colours and the trainers for winter, they are incredibly comfortable and excellent for cushioning your joints and feet on the hard floors here. They come in various styles. I first tried and bought them when I was on a health spa break but have since bought them online from Millets during their sales.
