Is it worthwhile trying to improve your home yourself, or should building, decoration and interior design work be left to paid professionals?

Bill - Paul's a big fan of DIY. Every time I say I'd like something in the house done, he says "Do It Yourself".

D.I.Y. best way to use up your day, injure yourself, spend more that you had to and yet still have fun. Top tip - start all DIY projects outside then you stay out of trouble with the boss and you can always knock it down or secretly get in a professional whilst she is away if you want to look good!!!
