| Didn't think any of the two teams deserved anything, I thought the quality of football from both sides was very poor, do liverpool have an Academy and if so is it being run properly? who has come through?, getting really fed up watching sides full of foreigners who are only average players and on ridiculous wages. Think I will return to watching the oval ball more value for money. |

| Have just seen on the Sky website that the Texaco Trophy and the Auto Windscreen cup are being reintroduced to give Liverpool a chance to win something. There is also talk of Liverpool entering the Intertoto cup next year but they will have to pre qualify by playing Barnet home and away (could prove tricky)
