One donum of Turkish Title Deed land in the village of Mehmetcik. (1338 square metres) The plot has wonderful uninterrupted views over farmland and out to sea to the up and coming area of Bafra. It is in an elevated postition. The plot is right on the edge of the village, offering a very private spot, yet only minutes from the shops and ameneties of Mehmetcik. The lovely fishing harbour of Bogaz is only 10 minutes away. In the opposite direction you will find the amazing Karpaz with all its lovely beaches. Costs to bring electric are no more than 4k, (this can be confirmed by the electricity board) so this plot is still very good value at 35k. 50% building permission is given.

If anyone is interested in property details for this land, or would like information on what is planned for Bafra on the East Coast of North Cyprus, please contact us direct on info@busybeesestateagents-cyprus.com Free inspection trips are offered on all our property and land, details on request.

We would also wish to confirm that our agency in Bogaz is licenced under the new legislation, no. 066.

Many Thanks.

Dear Wynurdman,

I will arrange for the details to be sent to you. Thanks for the enquiry.

We are a small agency, licenced I might add, but are here for anything that anyone has to ask about land or property on the east coast. (Famagusta to Bogaz) We hope that we can be of assistance to anyone, and maintain our good name. Thank you.

Given the recent press coverage about the refusal by the trnc goverment to issue title deeds to non trnc citezens do you feel that you should warn people they may never get their kocans ?

There has been a block in force for several years now be it offical or unoffical policy and NO TITLE DEEDS HAVE BEEN ISSUED TO NOT TRNC CITEZENS.

Dear All,

Yes, we are aware of these rumours, and several of my solicitors are checking out how many permissions have been granted, and I will get back to you if I may. Regarding non trnc citizens having to wait up to 15 years, surely they would have been entitled to citizenship anyway in this time???, therefore, if this is true, allowing the deeds to be transferred into their name???

Thanks everyone.

Hi Buzy bees

These are not rumours virtually nobody has got pre 74 Turkish title deeds issued in the past 3yrs, even people who applied and bought 8 years ago are still waiting, it was well covered in the cyprus today last week,

and also

even if some people were intitled to opt for citizenship after so many years they might not want to exercise the option????

Dear Lottlenige and All,

I would like to inform you that I have spoken with a local developer this morning, New Villas International, who only build Turkish Title deed villas. They are based in Bahceler/Iskele. They have confirmed to me that they have had clients who have had their permission to buy granted, and that these applications were put in after the referendum.

Hope this is of some help.

So they had been the lucky ones from 100!

I only know that very often the construction companies take over the deeds and the foreigners are only getting something like a contract.

How many people have been told lies by local developers ??

I f there are any brits out there genuine ones who will print their details who have got their PRE 74 TURKISH TITLE lately lets hear from them surely !!

Trouble is we were cought by one of these unscrupulous people who 'sold' us a plot of almost a donum it was all done thru a 'lawyer' and the local noter in Gazimagusa we got a piece of paper with a official stamp on it paid our deposit money, went back to the 'lawyer' with the land agent and paid the rest, only to find out later that the land could not be sold to us as we were not nationals, it took 2 & 1/2 years to get our money back and £2K in lawyers fees which were never reimbursed as the court decreed

We are not going to get into a debate about this on the board as there are still things on going just be careful. we thought we were but still got done

Busy Bees have done their best here the developer is telling themit's ok and people have got their pre 74 deeds they do have a duty to believe him unless there is evidence indicate he may not be teling the " whole truth"

If Marion and her team who work very closly with the goverment can not get an answer to the question should any prospective clients take a chance with £35k ??

Please bear in mind you could end up in this situation.

Elderly widow victim of illegal tax scam

By Jean Christou

A 83-YEAR-OLD British widow who has been waiting 29 years for the title deeds to her home was shocked recently to receive an Immovable Propery Tax (IPT) bill from her developer for €25,000 when it should have been around €430.
