Hi we are coming over to NC again stopping @ Riverside in June. Our last visit was Oct 2008. Some restaurants we will definitely be visiting locally are, Guidos(great sunday lunch) Acmenya(good food, great vfm) Pizza King(snacks), JK's Lapta(pub food), Ambience Karaoglanoglu(great setting), but we hear about other places like Red Lion, Mambo's, Park Lane, Cenap and Charco's but we don't know where they are, can anybody please enlighten?

Vaughn we didn't see it last time we were there Oct 2008 is it walking to the village centre or on the road past the cemetery towards Acmenya?

Cenap is in Alsancak village, it has bars on the outside ( don't let this put you off), there is also a great Kebab/lamacun/pide place opposite called Cafe fast food - very popular.

Park Lane - carry straight instead of turning left at cemetery corner, and then bear right.

One we enjoy - but mostly in the sumemr is Green Valley down the Mare Monte road. 15's which used to be Chapter 1 does a very good lunch menu - limited, but what there is is tasty!! Ricada for fish and chips just along from 15's.

Tervetuloa, on the road down to Merit hotel, is one of the best restaurants around Alsancak

Would have to disagree with message 9 - still, each to their own

Also, I don't think Guidos do a Sunday lunch during the summer months?

Sour grapes Jeannie? - there are cerain elements within the facility that have what can only be described as 'extremely decorative' properties. The food's good and plentiful aswell.
