Surveys suggest rising numbers of Turkish Cypriots feel that a separate state is a more viable solution than reunification.

I think AJ after the events of the past few weeks a lot of us would agree with that.

Chris

As an aside, can I just thank you for your help with Kim and her recently departed husband.

AJ that is a very interesting article. I have spoken to a few people 'in the know' over the past few months and it seems that this scenario is a very real posibility.

Correct me if i'm wrong. But if the talks break down and Turkey seek to make the North an annex of Turkey, creating direct trade with other countries (I understand there are quite a number already agreed) then this will put an end to any possibility of a solution in the future and will also reduce the risk with title issues?
