New developments (ie shopping centres)

There seem to be quite a few new shopping centres being developed, for example Anfora (?correct spelling)., and apparently a big bazzar in Bogaz (according to all the flags there). Wondered what everyone's opinions were on these?



For myself, I think it is great if they are offering shops that are different to what is already available, but if not, then I'm going to stick with the shops I know where the owners are really helpful, and the garage that has always cleaned my car. This is because where I live in the UK, we have had huge development, as whereas they have given employment to local people (at the minimum wage...) all their profit are sucked back to their headquarters, which is not my town, and I want to support the local traders in my own town. I feel the same about Cyprus.



Am I being naive??

Possibly you are Oknala, but I hope not. Totally agree with you, there are so many small "local" shops that need the business much more. Good on you!
