We are buying just across the road on there Discovery Bay site. When is your development due completion? Was there in Feb, the views from your site are great, should be nice once completed.

I know its a little off the point but does anyone know whats happened with the building of the marina as nothing has concrete has been said on this for a long time despite it supposed to have been under construction long ago. The website hasen't been updated for a long time on this either.

We are on plot number 13 towards the back.

There are others that should be going up after that, but they dont appeared to be started yet. The total no is 28 i think. The last photos that i have are of the completion of the plastering.

Hi Aussie

My Understanding is that atifacts were discovered during surveying on the site and the project is on hold for the time ,but Frank at the new bar at Barcheli told me that the marina is now being sited at the other side of bay near to Eagles nest. Moulas bar is good and the lady cooks a mean spaghetti bolannase

but this is only to order.

We are no 6 at the front .

There are 17 up at present & starting from no 1 most appear to be plastered out.

We have kitchen carcasses in & all tiling is finished to to the bathrooms.

They are up to no 7 with ceramic tiles on the roof.

Have you paid your electricity connection fee yet? & how much ?

Tugce Uz promised on Monday 02/06/08 that we would have elec by August

We are new to this forum and wanted to find out if anyone else was buying on the same plot so that we could share information. We are plot 11.



Do you know if the pools have been dug? What dates have you been given for completion? We received photos from Unwins today (taken on the 10th May) but only after a further request to them.



We will be going over on the 23rd for a few days. If you want any up to date photos let us know.

has anyone been asked to pay money for the electric connection,

Wardrobes are in the original spec and states fencing between each villa,

our lawyer says thats what we should get ,thats what we have paid for.

I will be speaking to Tuge tommorow.Will try to shed more light on the completion date.

Spoke to Tugce the other day - she said although she thinks the villas will be completed by June/July she doesn't envisage the utilities connections being complete until late Aug/early Sept - associated costs not mentioned as yet.



Hoping to find all of our bedrooms with wardrobes fitted, as spec!!

We have paid £3000.00 for electricity over 2 weeks ago & she assured us that everyone had been notified to pay this amount.

Are you saying that you have not been asked for this or any amount ?

Tudge said that until she had everyones payment that they would not start connecting the service.

hi mark h, what do you get for your three grand??? your own power station maybe.it sounds like a rip off to me. i am on another development and have just come back from trnc. for the electric connection you pay 550ytl about 200 pounds to register with kibtek then they will switch you on, good luck.

We just came back today and are buying at Marina Park Bahcelli and it doesn't look as if the development will be finished this year. Also the name has been changed because the Marina will no longer be opposite but further along the coast.



We have had no reply to emails, and we are anxious as we had a look at the villas at Tatlisu and they are also not completed, and there will be issues with finishes, electric and water etc.



Would love to hear from others on their views of the development, especially if you have other contact details for Alpan. This developer was recommended by Unwins.

i speak to Tugce(Alpans sister)she seems to be the point of contact for latest development if you can get hold, of her she is not good at responding to emails or left messages i tend to speak direct on her mobile,if you email us a contact number we will try to help with any questions you have.Also Unwins will have her contact numbers.

hi, joined today, we are buying a property on marina park.

we were out there mid june things were progressing well.

tucge says they will be ready by end of september but can't see

it happening. she also told us about the connection fee and quoted

£3ooo. but she has not asked us for payment yet. 11 plots not started yet

she was saying they may change the site plan and put in a communal pool

as on discovery bay.

Has anyone paid the £3000 for the electricity, and if so have you been provided with a copy of the electricity bill for the transformer, and has it been divided equally between the 28 villas? We have just been asked to pay, and I have sent an email querying and asking for details.



We have also been told that it could be delayed by a further year, and at the moment we are arguing about Nesa's contractual obligations.



Has anyone been out to see the villas as it was July we were last out? Have the pools been dug yet? Also has anyone received the compensation payment for Nesa running over time - we have just requested the first payment.

I'd be most surprised if you receive compensation from the builder for running over time. I think it would be a first for NC if you do. If you look at the many many posts on this forum about builders in NC I think you will quickly get the picture.

I don't think you will get any compensation from Alpan or Nesa. We have been waiting the outcome of the court case on Mouflon 1 for two and a half years and I think you will find that all the monies paid by buyers goes directly in to the bank account of Alpan Uz and not Nesa or Uz and Bay and therefore cannot be traced when you try to recover it.

Thanks for your posts, and it was Tugce who said that it could be delayed up to a year. I'm not sure if anyone has paid for the electricity, and I'm still waiting answers to the questions I posed with regards to this from the company.



Our contract, like many, states that you have to give written permission to the developer to run into the '3 months grace period', and only if this is fulfilled is the developer contractually bound to make compensation payments. We also put a clause in the contract with regards to the electricity installation and a maximum amount payable which is far less than the £3000 quoted.



Also saddened to hear that there is a case ongoing with regards to Mouflon 1 and would welcome any details.
