Wishing Andy the best of luck in the final this morning (Cyprus time 10am ) in Melbourne. I believe JK's are showing it in Lapta and doing breakfasts if anyone fancies going along. Chris

May pop down but every time I support someone in tennis they loose. Anything can happen but Murray will need to play at his very best and some to beat the Swiss machine.

Corbo I could be wrong but think that Andy has won 6 of the last 10 games against him. I agree he really will have to play at his very best but nice to see a Brit (Scot) in the final, it's been a long time coming. Chris

Just off to watch it now - not like me early Sun. start, but hope it's as good a match as semi-final. Federer says he wasn't on top form when Murray beat him, but he would say that wouldn't he!

Andy needs to be more consistent with his 1st serve if he wants to win, hope he does, although he has had the better of Federer many times in the past it's a different ball game in any Final, pressure is intense, if he can handle that then yes he can do it.

Too many unforced errors to make a real impact... think the occasion maybe got the better of him also? Mind you Federer was awesome...never looks fazed whether he wins or loses a point.. sign of a true champ!! Hope Andy gets a Grand Slam soon or he could end up being a bridesmaid a bit like Monty....

BRILLIANT tennis from Federer.. Murray came so close to taking it to a forth set ...10 all in the tie break .. losing 3 sets to love sounds more emphatic than it was 116 points to 100

At least he has kept his sense of humour by part of his speech at the end struggling for words and referring to Federer's runners-up speech 12 months previously, he joked: "I can cry like Roger, it's just a shame I can't play like him."

Federer was generous in victory which was good to see, and complimented Murray on his game. To beat the greatest of all time is hard for a 22 year old but I think Federer was forecasting one day..... Proud of him anyway, he fought hard.
