Hi everyone I have thought of this for a while Now ! If say, (Re Orams ) the court ruling, is only against the Brits and Europeans , Does this ruling not affect other nationalities . example Turkish Ctpriots , Russians , Belarussians , Chinese Israelis etc etc etc. If this ruling only affects the Brits and Europeans. Why dont they, The europeans and Brits Register there Title Deeds in a company of there choice and register the company overseas (Holding Company) .They being shareholders of say the holding company would still have there Properties and reduce there risk considerably.

It is not about property ownership, it is about trespass. Simply you do not have to own the property to be taken to court by the ROC. All they need is proof that you have been staying on 'their' property. I forgot to add that the reason the ROC are targeting Brits at the moment is because any ruling by the ROC courts are enforceable in any EU member state and the Brits are an easy target.

From what local papers tell us, it affects everyone. Personally I think we should all gang up and lay claim to Pafos and Larnaca aiports!!!!

Any Court must be provided with evidence of ownership, possesions or of taking benefit.



Given that the TRNC land registry is not recognised then the level of proof lies firmly with the applicant GC.

This is why Mr. Appostolides made a personal visit and met the Orams in Lapta.....Beware of Greeks bearing gifts..springs to mind. Of course it would be prudent at this moment to keep eyes and ears on 24-7. Remember the level of proof for claim lies with the applicant. This must show clear and definitive evidence for the basis of any claim.
