It's our old "GC friend" Steve Stylios, who started his campaign years and years ago. Just put his name or email address on your black list (so every post from him will disappear in your dustbin) or tell your email address to bounce his message. That is more rewarding.

Tom: Our GC "friend" Steve Stylios is a very reliable nuisance. He sends his spam and abuse from a free email address and then takes a new free email address and remains a nuisance etc etc. It's no use to complain and it's no use to keep his emails for later use. Delete him via a rule in your email program or bounce his sh*t.

| Hi Hans, As a rule for normal users this would be true and excelent advice but as a business (IAH, Guidos, Hoteliers etc) we have to take a slightly different stance on these things. I have a file and I do not even waste the time looking to see who is so sad as to take this action or what they say; we send it on to the authorities and I just file it for use if needed in the future. | Definitely a case of B.& B. (Bounce and block!). Or, as suggested by Flight Hols, keep it, just in case it can be used in evidence against him. Just waiting for mine - but can't see what this gent thinks he will achieve, other than perhaps a bit of unpopularity. |

A fellow poster on here got an abusive e-mail from Macha1 signed "Pikey" it named a number of other posters on the forum and it basically said all Brit buyers had bought stolen land, we were all greedy and the GC'S were on their way to claim what was rightfully their's........................ I for one would love to meet this character face to face not hiding behind his computer, but hey he is just a coward but as we say in the dear old UK Every dog will have its day.

Yes, many of us have read Pikey's thoughts. Interesting! And quite different to many of ours. However, we know we Brits are not Greedy, but as someone said to a GC reporter at a recent art exhibition "Most of the Brits who have come here are retirees who want to spend some time in the sun and in a laid back lifestyle - they don't have money!. They are not speculators or investors or thieves." Intgeresting that it is only a few years ago when everyone was saying that 'Exchange land' was perfectly O.K. Some TC's did not believe that until the 1980's and were then prepared to let go their hold on land in the south in exchange for land here (presumably agreed with Denktash and Clerides) so they could geton with their lives. This seems to have been turned topsy turvy, particularly from the Pikey's of this world. Let's see what Mr Ban Moon thinks about it all.

Marieb No exchange has ever happened between "Denktash and Clerides" or any other GC or TC other than those that went through the ECHR's. Many people have ended up in the situation they are in because Estate Agents,Advocates and dare I say some forum members, led everyone to believe that exchange land was land that had been exchanged by a GC and a TC, willingly and above board. Most as a result of the recent publicity now know this not to be the case. I disagree that everyone bought land thinking that it was perfectly ok and safe.. It has always been disputed land and most bought willing to take a risk and a gamble hoping that the worst scenario would be having to pay a nominal compensation at 74 prices. I bought in 2005 but looked and researched for a few years prior. You only needed to Google "buying in North Cyprus" and all the warnings were there. We all need to promote the facts and then buyers can make informed decisions about buying, without any regrets.

Well, Bradus, you have to call Denktash a liar then cos he sat and regalled us with stories of Clerides going to his house, and his children expecting the Greek to have two heads and horns, and he shared how the two of them had worked out Exchange land! Who am I to call the man who founded this place a 'liar'. Of courswe, Clerides can't be asked, can he? However, ever since I have known the place (20 years) , none of the warnings were issued about 'buying in North Cyprus'. I only know when I was living in the south I was offered a super bargain in a place called Tochni! Enough said!

Yea, Karakum, I get those too, and I am female! Some crossed wires, or should I say 'transexual wires'. Or I get even ruder ones inviting me to do things that no respectable married lady would ever think of doing. It is all an insult to my ownpersonal morals as well as my sexuality. Oh well, another B& B (bounce and block!)

O.K. Bradus whoever you are. Other than telling you what I said above, I can make no references, cos I haven't got the time to research. Maybe something on the web. But, I will ask Mr Denktash when next I see him, as to how he can back up the statement he shared with a room full of attentive people. Can't do fairer than that. Or can I?

MarieB re msg 16 >> I haven't got the time to research. Maybe something on the web. << You clearly should.. make that time.. because your assertions ( and ergo that of Mr D ) are incorrect... to this day 'TRNC' websites refer to 'agreed exchanges' and seemingly 'ignore' ECHR findings. If your 'evidence' for any such agreement is from Vienna in 1975 might I remind you that this was part of the outcome.. "3. The Greek Cypriots at present in the north who, at their own request and without having been subjected to any kind of pressure, wish to move to the south, will be permitted to do so. 4. The United Nations will have free and normal access to Greek Cypriot villages and habitations in the north. 5. In connection with the implementations of the above agreement, priority will be given to the reunification of families, which may also involve the transfer of a number of Greek Cypriots, at present in the south, to the north. " In practice, both UN and ECHR saw otherw

In practice, both UN and ECHR saw otherwise GC kids had to go 'south' for secondary education and weren't allowed back.... Both the UN and ECHR documented frequent breaches .. So let's not talk about lies / fibs.. let's just say someone is 'mistaken' ...

So. Mamachina in msg 1 writes about suspect emails allegedly from PtePike (also using nicknames like EricSeans, Campbell Thomas etc etc etc). Gradually the thread is once again taken over and finally once again redirected to the UN, ECHR and what have you. Welcome to the future - we're back in the past. A repeat of 6xm's (MarkyMark) well known lectures. Enjoy.

RE msg 2: (...) tell your email address to bounce his message (...) => I wrote "email address" in error - I meant "email program". How to do it? It depends on the email program on your hard drive or webmail program you use (free from Google, AOL, Yahoo etc or supplied by your ISP).

Sorry, I sent msg 21 without completing it. If you want to learn how to block a sender in *your* email program, here's where to find the "how to". If you still can't find the solution, try Google with "blocking emails in ....." where ..... is the name of your email program or webmail software (gmail, Yahho, AOL etc). If you still can't do it, let me know in this thread - keep the GC spammers out and away from your computer!
