Anyone seen any decent saucepans around, not the bright red Lemar type, or the look-nice-for-5-minutes stainless steel type!

I ended up bringing mine from the UK but there are a couple of industrial kitchen shops that might have better quality pans. There is one on the right hand side heading into town in the Cod Baba area (I think) and there also used to be one near the Brabantia shop in Kyrenia and one in the road behind the Pia Bella up near the Bellapais lights end.

There's a really nice shop in the Orphanides mall on the south. Can't remember the name but they sell pucker kitchen utensils and probably have a sale on at present.

Brabantia in Girne is where I purchased my saucepans and have had them for 5 years now and as good as new. The shop is opposite the car park in the side road near 1001.

Karen,

The Brabantia Shop in Girne has some super pans and there is also a place in Lefkosa, I can't remember the name but if you drive straight into Lefkosa and go pass the Onder shop on the right, soon after this shop and BEFORE the roundabout there is a small TEFAL shop also on the right. They have a small range and a little expensive but good stuff. I should add that whilst the shop is still there, I haven't been in it for 2 years!!!

Do you want non-stick or really good heavy-duty stainless steel that once seasoned behaves like non-stick?
