Put your money on Wales for a Grand Slam again this year

Save your money. Wales have won two Grand Slams in recent years, courtesy of England losing games they should have won. Wales came fouth in last years competition. After Saturday, they might not have any points. I expect France to win the Championship, although probably not the Grand Slam.

Difficult to predict this year my money is on no outright winner ie Grand Slam.

I think either France or Ireland.

i base this on the success of the Irish teams in the Heineken.

Ireland or France are the favorites. England will come good sometime, but not under Johnson and not this season. Wales will be the dark horse but other teams will be aware of their threat this year. Scotland are just not consistently good enough - one offs OK, but no consistency. It'll come down to France v Ireland in Paris on 13th February: the Irish have not done well in Paris for years. But maybe this year.........?

Exactly my prediction decider Paris, Ireland v France but no Grand Slam- the Frogs have a propensity to upset the proverbial apple cart.

France have to play Wales at Cardiff on a Friday evening so they won't get a grand slam. Confident of Wales winning at least 4 matches
