He was also renowned for expressing his feelings about “idiots” on the Bulletin Boards, where he was known variously as either Dave-the-Knave or Ex-Naval Person. David, naturally knew more about almost everything than ordinary mortals, and was never afraid to correct errors, without EVER being wrong himself……



Many people will miss his caustic humour as much as his kindness…….

Kim - David very kindly contacted me via e-mail when he realised we had 'Bury St Edmunds' in common! Sadly, we only exchanged a few e-mails but I would have liked to have got to know him (and, hopefully, yourself by association).



David was a man who was obviously held in high regard.



Once again, my sincere condolences.
