Ive been told that if there is a statue of a person on a horse and the horse has both front legs off the ground then the person died in battle and if the horse has one leg in the air the person died of wounds recieved in battle

Can anybody confirm if this is indeed the case

I did have a look but it is inconclusive as in the popular beliefs bit it says it is mainly an American thing from the battle of Gettysburg, and there is one instance where this seems to disprove the theory, but only one ? it's open for debate maybe

Don't mention Gettysburg to me, yesterday I had a couple of hours spare so I put on the DVD Gettsyburg, nobody told me it was 4 hours long, still got 2 hours 20 minutes to go when I get another spare couple of hours! AND 20 minutes!!!
