I am moving over in July and want to know what tv and internet service providers there are? Do not want a huge dish in the garden.

I know extend?? for the internet is getting bad reviews on another board.

Assistance on either would be a great help.

We have used sunnycyprus (www.sunnycyprus.net )( http://www.sunnycyprus.net/wireless.htm) for 4 years they are very professional and on an independent web site

( http://www.northcyprusbroadband.com/web ) come out tops for speed and value customer service and support is free and available 9am - 9pm via local telephone number.

It is a pleasure to recommend them to you.

other alternatives just so you can compare

Bora from Bortec Communications - http://www.canon-cyprus.com/

is excellent (ISP is called Ari Net) and has a range of choices - we have a dedicated line at 1mb and achieve this speed 99% of the time. He also can give you cheaper options obviously. Hes not the cheapest but don't ever have to call him as we never have any problems.

Never had an issue with them at all compared with our previous ISPs, and all you have is a small flat box on the roof.

Maybe also the Internet Club - http://www.the-internet-club.net/

did enquire with them initially - very helpful but if I remember rightly the installation fees were a lot more than Bortec.

Yes, don't forget those installation fees - can be around £200-£250 with some.

Bortec were recommended to us by a well known very helpful person, but we couldn't get a signal to our house, hoping to change to them asap when available, very good team, and you will not be dissapointed.

TIC and Extend are the same company now I beleive, have to say the VOIP has not been so good as of late so will be shopping around soon.

Nethouse Netwroks get a good write up.

We used to have Sunny Cyprus, but connection was so slow that VOIP never worked, maybe better now, I guess you pay your money and take your chance.
