PIIGS putting TR off wanting into EU??

Why would Turkey want into the EU when the PIIGS are,... well,... as sick as pigs?



PIIGS ( Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Greece, Spain) are all in dire straights. Greece is the worst case, technically Bankrupt having admitted they have fiddled their figures for years.



Would Turkey really want to join just to have to support or bail out these failing economies?

Where do they start! Apart from pumping £bn's in? I'm sure Turkey wouldn't go with that.



Greece has apparently been paying state pensions up to 93% of final salary for decades,.. now they wonder why they're out of money. ;-(
