| Arrived back Saturday night from UK to what I initially thought was a power cut - then noticed all the neighbours seems to have lights on! Lit the log fire & oil lamps & had a cosy evening. On inspecting the Kibtec meter on Sunday morning I found it had been broken into, the fuse taken out & the mains wire undone! the fuse was NOT stolen, just left lying in the cupboard! Got it all reconnected and visited Kibtec office Monday morning to check they hadn't cut me off (my acount was in credit!). I then reported the matter to Lapta Police who said they would 'make some enquiries' don't hold out much hope! Have bought a new hasp & staple fo the box and am considering barbed wire for the top of the gate they must have climbed over. Just wanted to warn other absent homeowners to make sure everything is secure before leaving for UK! Maggie |

| I don't know why they didn't steal the fuse - they normally do! |
