'U.K. holiday and travel show Destinations was held for the 16th year in London. The show, which main sponsors included the Times and Turkey’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, was held at London Earls Court on Feb. 4-7.'



'In addition to Turkey, Northern Cyprus was also represented at the show. The stand with officials from Northern Cyprus’ London office distributed brochures on Northern Cyprus and spoke about holiday opportunities there. Visitors frequently asked when direct flights to Northern Cyprus will start, officials said.'

Just for information Destinations Holiday & Travel Show is at Earls Court London on 4-7th February 2010 and Birmingham NEC on 5 - 7th March 2010. Price in advance in London is £10 and on the door £12 Thursday late night (after 5.00pm) is £6.00. There has never been a problem at this particular Travel Show as far as I am aware and been quite a few times, I do not understand why you think it would have been "sabotaged" Greece, Northern Cyprus and Turkey always have separate stands and equal opportunities to sell their holidays.

cheap enough from Stansted now to ercan so anyone living in our neck of the woods has no need to fly to the south and that is a big step forward in my eyes !

I hope someone clicks on to the 2-centre holiday ideas, re. Istanbul and here. There should be a lot of traffic to Istanbul this year and some bright spark should hopefully capitalise on it.
