"IF" Pompey go then the results will be null & voided which effects every team in the league meaning all the goals scored / conceded against Portsmouth changes the positioning for all teams.

Its disgusting they were allowed to run up such tax debts!!! Close it! Just like any other business would be, Why should they be allowed a reprieve?

I feel sorry for the true fans of the club. Some have been lifelong fans that spend their hard earned money watching the club week in / week out. It's easy to say 'shut them down' but I'm sure other fans wouldn't feel the same if it was their club going under. G

Donna msg 11, If they go into administration then they will be deducted 10 points, However if they go out of business altogether then their results for this season will be null and void.

9 points deduction for administration in premier league 10points the other 3 divisions as a starter Liquidation West Ham & Bolton are the bottom two & Liverpool move to 3rd Its time that football had a reality check if Liverpool or Man U miss champions league for two years they will be bust I bet the tax man has his money off us all at source most times I do feel for the fans though the directors need locking up

As I Liverpool fan I think football needs reining in & if it means your club going down then so be it. Football, like a lot of people I know have been living beyond their means for too long & it is now catching up. I think the second leg down is starting as I'm seeing bad news where ever I look.
