I recieved a text this morning to say Brian passed away in the early hours of today in Lefkosa Hospital, may your God bless you Brian, you will be missed, my condolences to Judith and her family at this difficult time

Very sad new's I saw Brian playing for Villa a couple of times in the late 60s. Unfortunatley I didn't get to meet him at all.

As a West Brom supporter from the Midlands I saw Brian play and then met him and Judith in TRNC at The Old Mill Ozankoy in 2007

He lived his life like he played "fair and square"

One minutes silence was held in Brians memory before the recent Bristol Rovers v Charlton game and from one who was there, take it from me there WAS 1 minutes silence (even from away supporters)

Brians gone but we dont forget

RIP ~ Didn't realise he was in NC, managed Bath City for a couple of years back in the 70's I believe.

He was an Evertonian,I watched most of their games in the late 60's...proud to be one.
