Just letting all my customers old and new know that I will be back at Karakum Market on Sunday. Sorry I've not been around but been a little under the weather since coming back from the Uk.

Pop along for delicious quiche, pies and pasties all freshly made.

Sorry I can't make it this week, but I want to add what a lovely friendly, 'family' gatherine there is. Not just what you sell, but all the stall holders are nice people and it is agreat atmosphere. Nice setting, good cuppa over in the corner cafe and with the sun shining, who could ask for anything more.

But you didn't give the time Blakey, so I am giving it for you 9a.m. to 1p.m. (is that right?) and for those who are not sure where it is, just head for Star Bowling, and you have arrived!

By the way, it is nothing to do with me, but maybe I could give a plug to say that at the moment there are about 13 stalls at the market, but there is room for plenty more. Only 5tl a table. If you were interested, just go down and have a chat with the 'management.' Charities are nothing!

If you live that side of town, it is a nice way to spend an hour (or less, or more) on a Sunday morning.

Maybe I should get some commission for this, but I am sure I can wangle a free cuppa out of someone!

Seriously, I just wish there was something like that the Alsancak end, but there are no suitable premises. Lambousa is big and there is nowhere the size of Star Bowling. Shame that.

Lambousa used to be that size, but it grew and grew and grew !!!!!!! I can remember the week we hit 40 tables, we thought we were getting huge, but now it really is, and what a great market it is..

I think there were about 16 on Sunday, so it is growing. Before Lambousa there was Toga's on a Saturday, but for some reason it never really expanded as it could have done, but that was a very nice atmosphere as well.
