The revelations admitted in the above article (Msg 1/Link) could well put a new slant on things!

'Every cloud has a silver lining!' springs to mind.

The TRNC government now urgently needs to create a 'Think Tank' in order to thrash out a plan of action.

But will they bother.....?!

Yes, come on guys, read it and comment. I have - the more the merrier! Especially if you read the comment by a certain Kirios Ioannou.OOps,l - a bit of an angry man there, and using language I just don't understand - so come on, place a nice kindly, factual comment. I think that the man who wrote it is to be commended.

You know the story of the 'drops in a bucket'. The only way any bucket gets filled is with lots of drops. It is no good just one person commenting - ALL are needed.

I think we should all let the TRNC authorities know that we are all willing to pay a few thousand pounds through the property commission if the original Greek owner is willing to sign over any claim to our property.

After all £3,000/ £4,000 for full internationally recognisable title deeds is a steal.

Why oh why don't some of the wealthy Turkish Cypriots get together and do something about this unfair situation? Is it because they are just lazy or is it because they just accept their lot and think nothing can be done. Wake up, band together and get on your thinking caps. Employ International lawyers and start fighting for justice for you and your fellow men and for all the foreigners who have invested in your country.

I am sure the plot of land on which some of the houses stand today were worth about £100 top whack in 1974, and many of the houses were in a terrible state of disrepair. I really feel this is a case where governments have to work out what is what. Many of us are not so concerned about internationally recognised title deeds, but more concerned about being homeless and penniless. I think we need to trust the Government when it said they woudl look after us. Otherwise, perhaps we canall cmap out at 10 Downing Street when we have nowhere else to go. That owuld be fun.

And to The Butler, I would say that I am given to understand what quite a lot is being currently planned but not yet ready to be made public. As they say 'Watch this space.'
