Tonight a friend of mine sang 4 tracks at sunset beach club lapta.BOB is his name,what a breath of fresh air,

he came on for 15 mins before Barry AKA snakes started his gig,Snakes kindly let him plug into his equipment and show what he could do .

Cheers Barry,your 12min song that we all thought you masterd was wonderful,and will be on youtube by tomorrow.

If any of you are interested in hearing BOB ,.there will be 4 short videos here shortly,and you gotta listen to the sounds comming out of barrys guitar on this 12 min song.

all will be here by morning.

Thanks for taking the time and trouble to videoing Barry and Bob for You Tube. Yes, it is always good to hear new talent and give people the opportunity to perform.



Barry's 12 minute song was 'Shine on you crazy diamond' by Pink Floyd.



It was a great night and I could see that people really enjoyed themselves at the Sunset, some great dancing going on by the ladies!!!



See you there on Sunday the 21st!!!

Your mate Bob, is really good.. a shame that the recording picks up folk chatting away, too .. Is it just me or is it a thing all over Cyprus where folk go to concerts / music festivals and just talk / chat on mobiles...and 'spoil' it ? :(

No it's not just you... drives me mad.



At the first Esentepe festival a chamber orchestra was playing wonderful music in the wedding park but unfortunately the audience just could not stop having animated group discussions about nothing to do with the event or the music during the performance. Drowning out large sections of the music.



Maybe they should have announced the need to have quiet before the performance?



Why were they there? Only they know, it certainly wasn't to listen to the music!



Totally ruined it just like kids running up and down the aisles of a cinema while you are trying to watch something moving...

That snake fella really is the nutz, I loved seeing him at Shayna last time, Zerochlor get yourself a mini tripod and you will see a real difference in your videos, thanx loved Bob too, have heard about him around town, but not seen him yet cheers Ta

Mark, thank you for your nice comments. Barry is playing at the Shayna this Saturday and back at the Sunset on Sunday the 21st February. Hope you can make one of those nights!!!
