I think if you need to use an expletive on a forum then the least you should do is to blank some of the word out by using a star in place of one or two letters. Most of us are adults but it's still not nice to use swear words when you can easily use another word giving the same meaning.

Yes i agree No1, but these words are excepted now so why bother, do you remember the baby elephant in Blue Peter standing on John Noakes foot in the late 60's. It was major headlines back then i cant remember but im sure he said "S++T".

Cyprus Joker Swear words don't offend me in the slightest, amongst colleagues and friends and in the right social arena I will use swear words, for emphasis or just as part of everyday conversation. Inconsiderate behaviour on the other hand does offend me, and therefore recognisining that certain words offend people for whatever reason, I chose intelligently not to use them where people who could be offended could come across them. This most definately includes a public forum so enough of these threads asking whether such words are acceptable, for me ON HERE they are not. Harold

Swearing stems from a lack of education ie not being able to put to use words, other than swear words, to get a meaning across. That said, its time for a f#####g cup of tea.
