Please can anyone explain the procedure for obtaining the above. We have paid out taxes and our builder has signed over the kocan to us, we are awaiting this from the LR office.

We have no problems with access, walls , water or power. We just need to know the procedure for the above.

Our builder no longer builds, as really is not helpful in this matter.

Has anyone done this work themselves or had it done on their behalf, at what cost. We are one of 4 houses which share a swimming pool so , we know we only will have a quarter share.

Thanks

I believe the following to be correct:

Arrange for the Civil Engineer from the local Belediyere to visit your property. He will need to have the original "approved" building plans with him, to confirm that the build has been done exactly as the plan.

Then you take a form from your Belediyere to the Kaymacam, near the court in Kyrenia, pay a few hundred TL. Then take this form back to your Belediyere, where they will give you the Final Approval Certificate which will have been officially stamped.

I would still check this with a British builder/developer. These guys can be found at various bars. A pint may get the advice required.

Good luck.
