What about Dutch Crusader for the villain - could be Abenazer in Aladdin, or dress up as the Queen in Snow White and then everyone who usually shouts at him on here can have a field day booing legitimately!

Neg Nick could be one of "40 thieves" along with MMM etc and all the other "bad" boys of the forum - your choice, I dont know them!

Could "Hippo" be the front/back end of the cow? - or is the name a smoke screen? I could be the other half!!

I'll be Aladdins Mum if you like!!

Thanks for the type-casting Mamachina. I was actually The Good Fairy in Mother Goose at Dunster in Somerset. Still got the costume and the wand.

But me and 'im downstairs WERE the Ugly sisters the other year - and maybe THAT was typecasting too, but couldn't I be Widow Twankey again. I was a widow for 5 years and learned a lot and did so enjoy being chased around the hall when I added the Twankey bit - and I like the theology of pantomime.

Or maybe I could 'step out' of typecasting and audition for the Prince Charming bit, cos I LERV those thigh high boots and the legs are not too bad. Well, itIS pantomime.

As for olthers - there are some obvious choices, but I want to knkow who is going to direct this - you, Nurse A?- cos we could write a great script and put it on next year - assuming we are all here. With the number of departures by air, sea and the graveyard, one does wonder.

Er - can someone tell me which Pantomime this is going to be. I am now the Good Fairy and the Wicked Stepmother, which gives an indication of schizophrenia. That's O.K, I can handle that as long as they are not both on stage at the same time! Quick change artist I may be, but.....

As to being Cinders - yup I never get to go to the ball, but the Wicked Stepmpother does, so you can be Cinders O.K. Lilli - so what with Ugly Sisters , Wicked Stepmums, and Cinders, I take it we are re-writing Cindwerella.

But come to think of it - we are all a bit of the Cinders out here. Can';t afford to go to the Ball and can't afford to get anyone else to do the housework.

So is this for this Christmas, or are we going to win the Lotto and change all that. yOu can then be anything you want!

Without being too naughty, it was suggested that this panto was done a couple of years ago, and some local wit said that finding the 40 thieves was easy. Give the parts to the government! Oops - naughty one that!

I believe I have just the person for one of the dwarves - Irene, if you're reading this - Paul suggested Dopey, but I insisted on Happy

PS Irene is 4'11" too.

This is getting quite exciting! I reckon we shold do something about this. Some of us could get together to write a script using everyone who has volunteered plus a few more, put on a panto for next Christmas, under the banner of something or other and raise lots of lovely money for charity. Come on - you are all big hearted!

Goodness knows what the title could be, but it looks a little like 'Ali Baba meets Mother Goose who together save Cindrella from the forty thieves' ! Or something.

oops, I missed Snow White out of the title, so perhaps it should be something like "Ali Baba meets Mother Goose who together save Cinderella and Snowhite from the forty thieves, seven of whom are Dwarves!

But Lilli, do you REALLY want tgo go around kissing seven vertically challenged people most of which may be women?

Hattikins - how about Dwarf No.3??? I don't think the half will make much of a difference, and as the others claim to be 4'11" perhaps we could give you an extra platform heel.

As to Lilli kissing frogs - good luck - as long as you don't have my experience, namely kissing loads of Princes who turn into toads! (No, not 'im downstairs, but lots before)

You know, I reckon Nurse Awful's first posting could turn into something that North Cyprus has never seen before, nor may want to see again!

This is the story of Rindercella and her sugly isters.

Rindercella and her sugly isters lived in a marge lansion.

Rindercella worked very hard frubbing sloors, emptying poss pits, and shivelling shot.

At the end of the day, she was knucking fackered.

The sugly isters were right bugly astards. One was called Mary Hinge, and the other was called Betty Swallocks; they were really forrible huckers; they had fetty sweet and fetty swannies.

The sugly isters had tickets to go to the ball, but the cotton runts would not let Rindercella go.

Suddenly there was a bucking fang, and her gairy fodmother appeared.

Her name was Shairy Hithole and she was a light rucking fesbian.

She turned a pumpkin and six mite wice into a hucking cuge farriage with six dandy ronkeys who had buge hollocks and dig bicks The gairy fodmother told Rindercella to be back by dimnlight otherwise, there would be a cucking falamity.

At the ball, Rindercella was dancing with the prandsome hince when suddenly the clock struck twelve.

'Mist all chucking frighty!!!' said Rindercella, and she ran out tripping barse over ollocks, so dropping her slass glipper.

The very next day the prandsome hince knocked on Rindercella's door and the sugly isters let him in. Suddenly, Betty Swallocks lifted her leg and let off a fig bart.

'Who's fust jarted??' asked the prandsome hince.

'Blame that fugly ucker over there!!' said Mary Hinge.

When the stinking brown cloud had lifted, he tried the slass glipper on both the sugly isters without success and their feet stucking funk. Betty Swallocks was ducking fisgusted and gave the prandsome hince a knack in the kickers. This was not difficult as he had bucking fuge halls and a hig bard on.

He tried the slass glipper on Rindercella and it fitted pucking ferfectly.

Rindercella and the prandsome hince were married. The pransome hince lived his life in lucking fuxury, and Rindercella lived hers with a follen swanny.

Aha, the tale unfolds. Good bit of Spoonerisms here, but I wonder if this is for adults only. We need something for the kids as well, even if some of them are in their second childhood.

Keep it coming!

Come on, isn't there someone out there who could co-write this with me, and then we can get it on BRT at Christmas, and use it as a fund raiser. I know Nurse Awful started is to lighten things on Cyprus 44 up, but we could lighten up the whole island!

Judging from the talent at Guidos today, we could have a cast of 44!!!!!!

Interesting, though, how we see ourselves and each other - all these offers of ugly sisters, dwarves, and wicked witches. Perhaps I will revert to being Good Fairy and keep my image in tact.

O.K. Vicki. You could borrow my dress (which might be too long for you), ort we could have a load of Good Fairies, like a bunch of Angels, and judging from some of the 'wicked' folk in this unwritten pantomime, we are going to need all the good we can get to beat them.

I could offer to be a dwarf, but don't fancy having my legs chopped off at the knees to qualify. Forgive me?

Ah no, Clayton - not the tin man(or was it the scarecrow) Be the lion and go and get some courage - to tell the wife she is wrong! And if you have lost heart - then go ind it. You must have had some once, to propose!

I would LERV to sing 'Somewhere over the rainbow' but I will let you into a little secret, I was meant to be the lion in the production that Mark did here, but had to opt out. I am afraid that Dorothy was a much younger lady. AND she used her own dog. Guess it is just a chance of 'I let my golden chances pass me by' (remember the song) - but I am still waiting to be 'discovered'

And to Clayton - I just hope that you lived 'happily ever after'
