how long can we stay in trnc before applying for residency we intend to ship our belongings over in april this year can anyone give us a bit of advice.

you will get a 90 day stamp at the border , when that runs out you will have to apply for temporary residence , that runs out every year ,you must then re,apply ,until 5 yrs here , dont quote me .

In same cases you get 10 days when you cross over and come back.

But,for the life of me I've not been able to understand why people would want to that.All you need is either the contract for buying or renting and proof of your income,and of course half a day in the office.
