Where to get a decent headboard made!!!!!

Hi we have a storage bed and are looking for a headboard !!! Either one that will attach to the wall or possibly a free standing one as I don't think that one would attach to our bed as it lifts from the bottom.

Has anyone any idea's !!! they would be appreciated.

I have an oterman stylre bed that lifts up from one end. I have a wrought iron headboard on that one. Two places for wrought iron headbords are Homefront and Fiskos. Wooden ones I would try the carpenter in the road going down to the Colony hotel on the left hand side going down from the main Nicosia roundabout

Best to go to 'Ronnies Furniture' - they have their own carpentry workshop and superb craftsmen - they will make any design you like; for example, if you see something you like in a foreign home furniture magazine, they'll be able to make a beautiful reproduction. They also have various headboards in stock.



Do you know where to find them?



If not, I, or I'm sure someone else will give you directions.



They have plenty of parking on their frontage - easy!

Hi Liz, I am doing something for my double bedroom, which won't cost an arm and a leg. Wait till you come out, and we can put our heads together, as I need to go in and order some curtain poles for a hanging headboard. It will work.

Hi Liz wrought iron man next to Charcos in Alsancak is very good at this type of thing, he made us a TV stand and various other items he will come and measure it for you or if you see a picture in a magazine show it to him and he will make you a copy his name is Tammer.

There's an excellant carpenter in Lapta near the 'The green Hotel' whos 'recreating' all my furniture for less than it cost me to by in the UK 5 years ago.If you have pictures so much the better.
