Here's the rough report (non-edited, no text) of the party at Guido's today, instigated by Chris Offord (the Nurse, who did some blood pressure measuring before she turned out to be a fine waitress also for Guido and Liz!). Indeed, a get-together like this should be done more often! Excellent afternoon!

Don';t think I will bother to download my photos, but I DO have one of you!!!!! Thanks Hans for a great photographic memory of the British at their best - helping others. It seems throughout history when the British have their backs against the wall (whether in a World War or a local difficulty) they can pull out all the stops and show what they are made of. We did well today - and so did the Dutch!!!!!

Hi Britvic, I never put names to faces and then upload the pics - unless people give permission or unless a publication would be in the public interest. I think that's still a good journalistic principle.

Lili just looking at the pics and thinking how lucky you all are sitting in the sun whilst us in GB were scrubbing about in our wellies, coats, scarfes, rain coats, umbrellas, thermal socks, thermal long johns, it was enough to make you want to jump on the next plane out!!!

Hi to all the wonderful people we met yesterday at Guido's, we came all the way from Bahceli to

support Lilli, what a fabulous time we had, thank you to all, especially to Lilli and Guido, we wished we could have stayed longer, it would be lovely to do this again. Good luck to both of them and good luck to what ever they decide to do.
