First January budget deficit since records started in 1993. January is tax collection month and government outgoings exceeded income by over £4billion. Sent sterling into a dive against all currencies. Sub 2.30 TL to £ on the way again?

I think 2.13 was the lowest in the last four years. The Pound might beat that this time.
