Mother and Baby groups

Hiya,



I'm moving over in January with my husband and little girl. My husband has lots of friends in the Nicosia/Kyrenia area but i dont.



I was wondering if anyone who young children knows of any places that get together or would be interested in meeting up.



I'm 30 and my little girl is 6 months at the mo.

there used to be a baby and tot group at sun set, alsancak, they meet every wed, 10-12. when i say used to be, i dont go any more as my little one goes to ESK now. it sould be still going. then there is the black olive cafe on saturday, i believe they do something as well.

my little girl is 5 months and 2 weeks old. need any more info just ask!

I dont think that they still meet at the black olive any more. I eill get my daughter to email you. She has a baby and used to go.

The sunset group finished last summer as most of the children were at the age where they were starting school. I don't think the Black Olive have a dedicated group any more either but there's lots of mums who do go there for coffee so might be worth popping up. Failing that you could always start a group

There was a story and photos this week in Cyprus Today about a group that meet in Ezic (spelling) unfortunately we have thrown the paper out but hopefully someone will check this out for you.

My little boy is nearly 7 months so he sounds like the same age. I am available during the weekday mornings except mondays. Would love to meet other mums in the Nicosia area. Could do Kyrenia after I get my licence.

Why don't all you mums get together by e-mail and start your own? Pick a place central to where you all are and there are loads of small cafe / restaurant / bars with play areas that don't normally open until 12 that I am sure would welcome you all with open arms.
