Going back out in a few weeks for another bit of trespassing.

What's the weather really like, couldn't be any worse than here. Woke up to about three inches of snow this morning, going to work in the mornings since Christmas it has been baltic so looking forward to hopefully a bit of sunshine.

20 degrees today - fabulous. Everyone sitting outside their favourite cafes supping whatever takes their fancy, but now, the wind is fierce, blowing my flower pots all over the place. That is what come so fliving half way up a mountain. So bad, my cats are staying in.

But by next month, yhou should be able to leave your fur lined underwear behind for those still trapped in snow, but do bring a cardigan and a pair of jeans for the evenings, although I guess after waking up in that 3" of snow, it will seem like the fires of hell out here!

But it is forecast that the tempwill drop again and we shall have rain.

Hi SteveAustin,

Here's few TRNC weather sites....

http://www.accuweather.com/world-forecast-15day.asp?partner=accuweather&traveler=0&locCode=MEA|CY|CY002|KYRENIA&metric=1

http://www.nigelheasman.com/wview/img/Current_Plus.htm

http://www.wunderground.com/global/stations/17607.html

http://www.cypyp.com/data_weather.htm

They cover different areas.

We've not had to put any heating on for about a week now,

depends where you are though.

Hope this helps.

Personally, I still have the electric blanket, hot water bottle, the 'chef', the cat and the dog keeping me wamr in bed at night, but then I am a chilly mortal. But I repeat for those coming from U.K, this will seem decidedly 'ot.

I must admit that I was very tempted to have a dip in the pool today. It felt warm(ish) but the thermometer said it was 14 degrees, so I thought nah.

Thanks Navek,

I keep an eye on most of those weather sites but nothing better than the horses mouth.

Temp here today -4C going to work and did not lift above 2C all day so will be very pleasant to walk around NC in a few weeks time.

Thanks to all for the replies

Mae yn oer yn Llangollen, ydy fe? That reminds me why I couldn't go back to rust to death, although with some of the weather here, it has been almost the same. But spring is here - there are lots of spring flowers, and the sun it shineth every day. Mae'n hyfryd dros ben. Don't think I would stick a toe in any Welsh Water, not even Aberystwyth sea water. Guess that is one of the main reasons a lot of us stick it out here - all that boring constant sunshine and blue skies.

We were down in Llangollen (White Waters) last Sunday, 14th Feb., celebrating our daughter's birthday. Had a fab meal, overlooking the Dee. Weather wasn't too bad, worse this week and cheaper than any three course lunch you'll find in TRNC!

4 days of rain forecast on BBC for tomorrow. It's changeable during the day, but okay with a cardigan in the shade. Only tourists wear shorts in February. Still need a fire at night, but not on full. Still have the 8 tog duvet on the bed & the lecky blanket. Next month it should be a bit better.

Ah,memories!!!I lived near Llangollen, and do miss fly-fishing in the Dee.

Also used to poached Salmon at night under the Chain Bridge.Had to wear a wetsuit, lads would come out from the dance, and relieve themselves from the bridge.

Worth it for a couple of salmon!!!

My fav.pub there was Sun Trevor

Thanks for mentioning Llangollen
