REMINDER: THE NEXT MCF-LECTURE

==========================

On request of TRNC residents, who were not able to attend this lecture in 2008, Hans Doeleman (founder of the Medieval Cyprus Fellowship, MCF) will again deliver his illustrated introduction to "The Secrets of St Hilarion Castle".

It will be a much extended version of the 2008 reading (with new maps, seldom seen pictures and updated text).

People who book for the reading (email only: mcf.trnc@gmail.com ) will find a confirmation plus location map of "Denizhan Bar & Restaurant" in their mailbox. More details here: http://www.allcrusades.com/BB_pics/LO_Denizhan_FH_72.jpg .

Please note: email bookings only plus the number of seats required! (there are only 35 seats available).

Never mind about giving me a seat, I will stand flashing my little ..................................camera. Tamam?

This time I intend to stay and listen again to those uncovered secrets of Hans about our very own fairy tale castle.

But if you could provide a seat for 'im in the kitchen wot doesn't 'ear two well - it would be appreciated.

Hope it is a sell out, cos we can never learn enough about where we live, especially as it all happened even before we were born! Yes - even mew!

MarieB, there'll be a seat reserved for him in the front row. And again it's (unfortunately...) no smoking.

Thanks you to my favourite Dutchman (not sure I know any others!). Thanks re front seat for the Deaf One - if you talk to him nicely he might give you a jar of marmalade by way of thanks.

Hope you get a good turn out - I am sure you will.

A jar of mamalade for a front seat - what a great proposal, MarieB! How about another jar of marmalade for a print out of my lecture so your husband can check my words during the lecture..?

P.S. I love marmalade, but unfortunately the Netherlanders have never mastered the fine art of making it. In the Netherlands I had to do with imported marmalade, it was called Chivers, if I remember well?

Bill, your questions are getting more and more difficult! The "flavour of marmalade"?! How could a simple Netherlander know this secret of the world famous British kitchen? It must be bitter and dark, made of the skins of oranges (isn't it?) - and I don't want you to send me a recipe! I want the real stuff in a big jar (hint: like Nurseawful did, who was kind enough to present me a fine jar a couple of weeks ago).

Hans. You are a very busy man lately. How do you find the time to entertain Presidents? )
