Our top terrace has travertine marble tiles in a very shoddy condition. We need to overtile it with a waterproof membrane below that, along with upright skirting along the wall's. Does anyone know of a decent tiler and where we can get ceramic tiles from.

We have an excellent tiler and can take you to choose tiles from a large selection. We can also show you examples of our watertight terrace work in Karsiyaka and Lapta if you wish. References available, all work guaranteed. 25 years experience.

Is your roof leaking then? Just wondered why you dont get the travetine seen too instead of all the expence and hassle of having it re-tiled. I do understand if its leaking though? We used a company that re-grind and polish then treated the stone after looks even better than it did when it put down.

I decided to use a local company here in Karsiaka and they have done a great job. They have totally waterproofed our top terrace and re-tiled it. No more leaks for us. They are called BraveStone.

We have had them back to put coping stones on top of the waist high walls up on the top terrace. Not only to they look great, they will be doing a great job in stopping water seeping down through the walls. Will post some pics when hubby gets round to painting it.

They have been coated with stonoseal and the water just goes into mercury type balls. What a great product that is.

Glad to hear someone has the job done properly. We have the same problem in our rented property but our skinflint landlord does not want to pay the price, he has opted to do the job himself with roof felt (the sort you put on garden sheds)!!!!!
