Green Valley Restuarant what a lovely evening!

Went to this retuarant last night and had a lovely meal - home made chorba, lovely mese, choice of steak or chicken pie (the steak was delicious) desert, coffee & brandy all for 15tl per head plus drinks. The place was buzzing for a wednesday night out of season! Met some nice people and had a great time!

Forgot to mention this is just off the main road Alsancak. Travelling west from Girne, past golden lady statue look for Mare Monte hotel sign on right. turn right for Green Valley Restaurant.

This is our favourite place to go - sundays in the summer under the fig tree, in the winter by the fire - I only wish he had as many people every night!! And I join you in extolling the steak pie (tho I wasnt there last night)

Go there Line dancing on Tuesday.never been for a meal but will definitely try it.

Thank you MaggieAndBernie for recommending this restaurant.

Paid our first visit this evening and wish we had found it sooner.



Had a lovely meal and very reasonable prices.



Made to feel very welcome and the owner and his wife are wonderful hosts.

Ended the evening sitting by the log fire chatting with them and even met a cyprus44 member.

Hi Maggie,that's where a table ot 20 had our Xmas lunch.

Had been before in the Summer,and sometimes a good belly dancer.

As you know I once worked for the MET police and as the saying in the job goes..."I still clock things!!"



I know from a previous posting that you mentioned the problem you have buying your hubby clothes due to his size (shopping in M & S in the south on a previous topic?). I also overheard you in the restaurant mention your dog "Charlie" so I put 2 and 2 together! I think I did mention when I said hello to you that I also recognised your hubby as I have met him while he's been out walking Charlie.....so I guessed you had to be his wife!
