Has anyone managed to open a Paypal account out here, i have one in the UK but need to open one for my Turkish bank, is it possible???

Hi Teresa, I haven't tried it but I would think you could use the account you have & just add another payment method i.e. Turkish bank card details. Would be interested to hear if it works!

i dont think you can set up a turkish bank, i just added my turkish credit card which works fine but you have got nothing to loose trying

I am CERTAIN that paypal works in 'TRNC'... it regards you as being in TR and the account works by default in USD.



How do I know? I had to pay Iceman for helping out my friend Alexey with a big job in Limas(s)ol .. I paid him via paypal .

i had an existing paypal account that i hadn't used for years and changed all the details and added my turk bank credit card and have used it ever since but you have to let them know you want it for internet shopping or it won't work. normally there are 2 parts to the card the normal tl and the usd for the internet.
