Tonight will be our reincarnation, fast furious and attractive rugby something the English are about to look upon with envy

I expect us to win by at least 8 points, with Lilli cheering us on we can’t lose

Looking forward to Ireland getting their championship back on track tomorrow and hopefully the sweaties will scrape a win

Come on you taffs

Admire your optimism but Wales will be outclassed by the French tonight, good luck anyway.

Thanks Charlie boy, we are about to slip into 5th gear this evening. Just sit back and admire the passion and drive of our team. I'm sure England will put on a similar show on Saturday afternoon

This is turning out to be a good championship, maybe not the best rugby some some intriging matches

Tsk! I've read this thread now three times - what kind of event (sport?) are you all talking about..?

P.S. Tonight from 22.30 hrs the Dutch speed skaters go for gold again... About 600 million people will watch the Dutch Golden Boys on TV...

P.P.S. Come on, Wales!

RE msg 16, Ian: (...) How is the Grumpy now that Ozge and Alan have gone? (...)

=> I don't know, Ian. We've said goodbye to Alan and Özge (they were our neighbours) and - for our own reasons - haven't been back to the place since.

Am I led to believe that Wales doesn't do what the experts here predicted? Is it over or only teatime..?

P.S. Just saw the Golden Boys from the Netherlands win their speed skating race against the Swedes with ease.

P.P.S. THEY did what I predicted (Scarlets... )

'Quel dommages' I do believe... in this case one has to use the plural....

Obviously a proportion of posters here know as much about rugby as I know about synchronized swimming.

What happened was the French analyzed the Welsh team and made it impossible for them to play.

First half French coaching staff 20 Warren Gatland, Sean Edwards 0

Second half we saw that flash of Welsh brilliance at its best a further pass to hand , kick that went right and a penalty that missed and it could have been quite different.

France are obviously now a well settled team i can not see Johnson's plodders making any indent on them they now look favourite to win the Grand Slam.

Now the perfect end to the weekend would be for Ireland to beat the English, Hippo's prediction Ireland by 10 points.

Corbo -in your wildest dreams- Hohnston has succesfully coached any flair out of the side. One idea only stick it up the jumper and drive it up the middle.

How can they continue to pick Borthwick?

We'll soon see. We usually beat France now. I was in Paris when we did recently. We were also meant to loose then. As in the last world cup, many write England off and they start badly but win at the right times.

Poor Wales, but as a nuetral Scotsman I have to say that the Welsh have been found out as they do not have the depth of decent players.

Us Scots are the most improved team in the 6 Nations although the results will not show it this year be prepared for a few surprises next year.

Who will win the Grand Slam- France

Who will winTriple Crown - Have to go with Ireland but like the Welsh, they are starting to be found out and new blood is needed.

Wooded Spoon- Italy, Scotland will show today how to play against the Italians and I predict a 9 point plus victory.

Another wonderful tournament and miss being in my Kilt in the Celebrity getting abused and lashed!!

Yes another hotly disputed defeat, the french offside a couiple of times, a forward pass and a referee who clearly has little understanding for the game

Two undeserved defeats but looking forward to the two remaining games

Prediction of a win for the Scots and Irish today, hope they don't get the same ref as us!

Don't make those excuses Scarlets, Wales were out thought not out played, when they realised how to beat the French then things happened.

I thought the interviewer at the end of the game was lucky not to get banjo-ed by Warren Gatland.

It is the gloating English mentality to rubbish the Celtic game, lets see how Johnston's wonders do this afternoon and against the French in Paris.

Come on hippo, lets cheer on the jocks and paddies this afternoon

Unfortunately for the paddies they have to play us in Dublin, there can only be one winner as I see it, Wales

That's my unbiased opinion

It's wonderful that England remain the team to beat for the obsessive Celtic and Froggy fringes. It really is - thank you all.

England on the other hand, while perhaps momentarily enjoying the drubbing handed out to their Welsh cousins recently, don't have too much time to gloat about any so-called celtic game. As well as not really caring about the minor provinces they're much more preoccupied with ensuring that at least one Northern Hemisphere team attempts to show up with the big boys at the World Cup.

Hi, Ang.

Not sure about the IPL as I haven't been following the squads though Chennai do have a strong batting line-up.

3 tries to 1..fair play and well done Ireland. Open 6 Nations once more. Italy winning was a boost for their rugby.

Ireland played well. A bit fortunate at the end with the try.

Strangely quiet the English fans this rainy morning.

Licking thier wounds i suggest. My phone remained somewhat quiet last evening not like when Ireland lost to France.

Not glorious in defeat are St Georges men.

Usually very fair in defeat the English..we got used to it. Before 6 a.m on a Sunday morning what do you expect. What's worse than being a bad looser is a winner who rubs it in.

Well one out of three! It won't surprise you to know that I haven't won the lottery this weekend

The three games the weekend were very close and could have gone either way

On yesterdays form I can't see Ireland beating Wales in Dublin in two weeks, so my prediction is wins for Wales, Scotland and France

Scarlets you were obviously watching a different game than i was, although Wales did some very good things (when they decided that they were on the park) they lack the strength in depth that Ireland has.

In Dublin got to be an advantage.

It may be close but Irland by 10 points.

Your track record of predicted results is not the best.

A deserved win by Ireland.

A sorry display by Scotland I'm afraid.
