just wondered if any one could give me some info and advice,
basically i purchased an apartment in alcansak throu an agent in england that was to be built by tekjen construction via the northlands estate agents in girnie.
that was in 2004 and i payed 4 payments to my english agent atalanta estates of £8800 each time with a finale payment to be made when complete?
but it appears that my agent sent the money to northlands estates who only gave the construction company 2 payments and then decided to keep the rest?
so at the moment im £35200 down with no apartment or i have to pay again which i dont want to do?
any advice please

sadly, as many people have said here before - do not make payments through the agent, make them through your lawyer.
that said, bit late eh - sure people will tell you to talk to HBPG for advice.
what does your lawyer say?

This is fraud. However a paperchase will have been left as you transferred the money.You need a lawyer who will go the police with you and also take action to prevent the property being resold. Do as Hot Hornett says and contact HBPG.

i dont have a solicitor or lawyer and can i go to police in england and report my agent as he might be lieing as well?

hi nickh , welcome to the forum , albeit in very sad circumstances , i don't understand ! who was handling all the legal paperwork for the purchase of your apartment in nc ?
